SIKA Footwear Warranty Information
SIKA Footwear offers a 6 month limited warranty against manufacturer's defect only on both the upper leather and the polyurethane sole. This warranty is not a guarantee and is conditional to defects in the quality of the product and not due to normal wear and tear.
SIKA Footwear should be worn with socks at all times. Failure to do so can result in excess moisture causing the insoles to wear out quicker than they normally would. Never put SIKA Footwear in the dishwasher to clean them. For cleaning, it is recommended that any of the leather care products available be used.
How long should the footwear last? With normal wear and tear, most people find their footwear lasts for one year. However, this is only a guideline as several factors will determine how long a person's footwear lasts. Some of these considerations include:
1. How often they are worn, and how long are the shifts. Some people wear them 7 days a week, or many work 14 - 16 hours daily. Obviously, these will be worn out quicker than someone working part time, or Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. Weight can determine how quickly shoes will wear out. Generally, the heavier the person, the more wear and tear on a shoe.
3. General wear and tear on a shoe can vary from job to job. Some people are also "harder" on their shoes than others, resulting in quicker wear and tear.
